Anyone worth their grapes knows a good wine from a bad wine – not all wines are created equal. Those of us who aren’t exactly experts might not be sure what exactly makes a good wine, what separates a beautifully crafted bottle of fine vintage from supermarket swill? Jargon like ‘legs’, 'Australian red wine' and ‘punts’ can confuzzle the conscious and leave one feeling a bit out of their depth in the great ocean of wine appreciation. Is Red Wine Better For You Than White Wine?
Most of us will have heard of the term ‘the French paradox’ catch phrasing the observation that the French have relatively low incidence of coronary heart disease (CHD) despite having a diet rich in saturated fats. This is thought to be down to regular, moderated wine consumption which gives more people the antioxidants to fight off health issues.
For a long time, these health benefits were associated with red wine but there is little evidence to suggest that this is true within a laboratory setting. World famous for its wine and vast number of quality vineyards, Bordeaux is a well renowned city in France. It was over 2000 years ago that the romans planted the first vineyard, which has since developed into a huge and important player within the global wine market.

Round Up of Rugby World Cup 2015!
Now that Halloween is done and dusted, so is the Rugby World Cup 2015. Over 120 million of us tuned in to watch the final on Saturday 31st October, which saw New Zealand, win victory. England 2015 has been one of the most competitive, socially-engaged and nail-biting tournaments to date.
Daniel Carter was named World Rugby player of the Year 2015 at the awards ceremony at Battersea Evolution in London on Sunday, 1st November. He joined his All Blacks captain Richie McCaw as a three-time recipient of the prestigious accolade. He was also provided the same title in 2005 and 2012.
