Spanish Wines
Spain is the most widely planted wine producing nation with over 2.9 million acres. However it is not the largest producer of wine. Spain actually comes third to Italy and France. Spain is ninth in the worldwide consumption.
Spain’s popular and most successful grape, the Tempranillo produces some outstanding wine. These are produced in the well known Rioja and Navarra regions.

Spanish Red Wines
Titan del Bendito DOC Toro 2006 75cl
This wine is produced in a tiny boutique vineyard in Toro, North West Spain. It is made from the local variety of Tempranillo, Tinto do Toro by means of low yielding vines between 50 and 100 years old.
Very deep opaque purple colour with a big nose of dark cherry. 20 months in oak. A very big wine that needs to breathe. Very intense fruit on the palate, supremely balanced with noticeable alcohol and acidity. Very long with a concentrated dry finish
