However the Spanish wine industry has undergone something of a revolution in recent years, replanting little known local grape varieties with Cabernet Sauvignon and other well known grapes. The introduction of new technology and modern techniques like temperature controlled fermentation has enabled Spain to finally reach it's potential and the lesser known regions like Catalunya, Aragon and La Mancha are now producing fruit driven reds
